Physical Education

Physical Education

At Holy Angel School, we encourage children to actively participate in games and sports and not to turn into a book worm. For this there is a complete curriculum developed with the help of experts which brings the ”I-can-do-it” feeling. This curriculum concentrates on the basic skills of locomotion, ball control, throwing, tracking and trapping, kicking & striking.

One role of physical education within the school curriculum is to help all children attain & enjoy optimum health. This involves the development of the knowledge, skills, understanding and motivation required for children to seek health and physical competence through lifelong involvement activity.

The programme emphasises skill development through group work. Groups are formed in relation to the stage of each child’s fundamental motor skill development level. The selection of activities has been designed to facilitate the improvement of each child’s sport related skills.
